Integration is the process of bringing new experiences and healing into your daily life. SOFT is not just a practice for special moments. It is a way to build gentle, embodied awareness every day. True change happens in small steps, repeated over time. You do not have to dedicate hours to healing. Simple micro-practices can make a real difference. The goal is to weave moments of sensing, opening, and feeling into the routines you already have. You might begin each morning with a few breaths and a gentle check-in with your body. Notice what is present—tension, ease, or anything in between. Throughout the day, pause for a few seconds to notice your feet on the ground, your breath, or the sensation of your clothing. These brief moments are the foundation of integration. Consider this example. Someone used SOFT micro-practices throughout their workday. Before a meeting, they placed a hand on their chest and took one slow breath. During lunch, they noticed the temperature and texture of their food. Before sleep, they scanned their body for areas of comfort or tension, without trying to change anything. Over time, these small moments helped reduce stress, increase resilience, and build trust in their body’s wisdom. You can try a SOFT micro-practice right now. Pause whatever you are doing. Notice one area of your body that feels neutral or pleasant, even if it is very small. Place your attention there for a few breaths. If you like, gently thank your body for showing up. There is no pressure to do this perfectly. Each small step is enough. Integration is not about fixing yourself. It is about bringing kindness, curiosity, and gentle attention into everyday life.
